Out on a charter trip with Electrix on the Hauraki Gulf, Auckland NZ, 2004 we encountered a large "workup" of dolphins and other predators with hundreds of dive-bombing gannets. 50m away we filled the boat up with snapper and some kahawhai.
On the way out to the Hauraki Gulf we were surrounded by dolphins all the way. They split off to join the gannets amongst the workup.
